    Email should always be an essential part of your marketing strategy. No matter how great an opportunity has come along (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) it’s critical to stay focused on protecting your business while you build it.

    If Facebook, Twitter, that JV partner or whoever decides not to work with you any more for whatever reason, you still have a way to interact with your audience through email.

    Using those other services and strategies is fine (and I suggest doing it), but use them to build your email list to stay safe and profitable. 🙂
